What?

Join IP Out and IP Futures in central Manchester for an evening of honest careers conversation and relaxed networking.

Our panel brings together voices from across multiple facets of the profession (patents, TM, private practice, in-house, supporting and attorney roles) to demystify the routes in, the realities of qualifying, and how to build a career that fits you.

We’ll also look at the profession through an LGBTQ+ lens: what genuine inclusion looks like, and how it plays out within the IP sector.

Whether you’re just starting out or several (or more!) years into your career, come along, ask your questions, and stay for a drink.

Anyone over the age of 18, who is thinking about a career in intellectual property, or already in it and wondering about their next move.

How to sign-up / apply

Complete the Registration Form.

40 places available in person.

Places for in person attendance will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. Please only book if you can come, and release your ticket if your plans change so someone else can take the spot.

No selection criteria – open to all over the age of 18.

This is an IP Inclusive event: everyone is welcome and treated with respect.

We’ll be taking some photographs on the night. If you’d prefer not to appear in any, just let a host know — and please ask before photographing anyone else.
