IP Apprenticeships
What?
This webinar will explore apprenticeships that lead to a career as a Patent Scientist/ Patent Engineer or an IP Paralegal. The Patent Scientist/Patent Engineer apprenticeship is a Level 6 degree apprenticeship which is particularly suited to people who are studying or have studied STEM subjects at A level or equivalent. The IP Paralegal apprenticeship is a Level 3 apprenticeship that does not require any particular background. We’ll hear from patent attorneys and paralegals about these apprenticeships and the opportunities in the IP world for those that complete them. We’ll also hear from an academic who has experience of running apprenticeship courses about what it is like to pursue an apprenticeship course as well as a representative of a training company involved in the IP Paralegal course.
