Hello! My name is Doyin, and I’m a Paralegal in Vodafone’s Brand Legal Team. In my role, I draft and execute a range of legal documents, including assignments and powers of attorney. I also manage the renewal of Vodafone’s trade marks and collaborate with third parties interested in using our trade marks in their media.

Before joining Vodafone, I spent several years in the Civil Service, working on public inquiries and in financial crime. I decided to make the leap into the private sector and applied to Vodafone on a whim, without knowing much about intellectual property. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I have made.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my role is seeing the global impact of our team’s work. I’ve always aspired to have a career with international reach, and this role delivers just that. Another highlight is my team; we come from diverse backgrounds and bring experience from across various industries. I learn something new from them every day, and they’ve been incredibly supportive since I joined.

Over a year into my journey at Vodafone, I’m now a CITMA Qualified Paralegal, currently preparing for the SQE 2 (part of the Solicitors Qualifying Examination). It’s been an exciting ride so far, and I’m looking forward to what’s next!
